Whether you are using heavy binoviewers or setting up a permanent remote observatory, the CYck focuser delivers professional-grade performance.

• Unmatched Stability with 16-Point Bearing Support: Unlike standard focusers that use only a few contact points, our unique design utilizes 16 precision bearings. This system distributes the load evenly around the drawtube, eliminating flexure and the "image shift" commonly associated with stock SCT focusers. The result is buttery-smooth focusing with zero lateral movement.

• Maximum Focus Travel in a Minimal Package: We've optimized the design to provide an exceptional 55.5mm of focus travel from a drawtube only 56mm long, achieving a remarkable 99% utilization rate. This generous travel ensures you can reach focus with virtually any visual or photographic setup, including demanding configurations like Denkmeier or Binoviewers.

• Built for Remote & Long-Term Use: The 16-point bearing system offers incredible redundancy. Even if a few points were to loosen over time due to vibration or temperature changes, the remaining bearings maintain perfect stability. This makes it the ideal choice for remote observatories and "set-and-forget" imaging rigs.

Important Installation & Compatibility Notes:

• Required Tools: Professional installation recommended. You will need a set of metric hex keys (Allen wrenches). Tools are not included.

• Focus Travel Restriction (Important): On C925HD, C11, C11HD, and C14 models, the internal focus tube may contact the telescope's primary mirror baffle when racked fully in, slightly reducing the maximum possible travel. C6, C8C, C8HD, and C925 versions are unaffected and retain the full travel range.

• Backfocus Calculation: For imaging setups, please use the following formula to determine the correct extension length:

  • Optimal Extension = (Telescope Backfocus) - (Lowest Focuser Height) + (Thread Engagement Depth) - (Camera Backfocus) - (Accessory Path)

• What's NOT Included:

  • A standard 2" to 1.25" eyepiece adapter is NOT included.

  • The 54-48mm external thread adapter for achieving the lowest profile is sold separately for all models.
